# Wedding ceremony Violinist

With my wedding coming up around the corner (april 12th) we are finally getting to think about the ceremony song. Im 99% dead set on Pachelbel Canon in D major. I was planning on just using an iPod through the speaker system at the Botanical Gardens. But thought about using a Live violinist as a surprise. I know she would love it, my question is does anyone know of a person or can recommend somewhere for me to look into.  
Any help is appreciated.

I played a few gigs with this guy Vinny. He is out in Batavia and plays the fiddle, violin, and other strings. He’s very very good but I’m not sure if he does wedding gigs for hire. I’m sure I can find out through the grapevine though.

My wife and I had a trio of violinists at our backyard wedding, however this was in Scarsdale…they were very good…

My girlfriend plays in UB’s Symphony Orchestra. They have some pretty amazing violinists. Nobody really well known or famous, but they could definitely pull it off. PM me if you want me to talk to her about it.
