i did the same, except without the 25k or the wedding. just went to Vegas for a week, got married by Elvis, and it cost about 2 grand total…lol. oh yeah, and the maybe 1500 bux for the party when we got back…i’m not gonna say you shouldn’t or can’t do it BIG. But me personally, would not have done it any other way…

I wanted to have a small wending. Just our closest relatives.
The wife wanted a bigger wedding, but still small.
Let me just say I am happy we went with the bigger wedding. It was awesome and a memory me and our familys will remember forever. Our destination was amazing and that made the wedding IMO. Eatonyoualive can attest.
that being said, we were able to get a house pretty much from our wedding gift’s…sooooo

Its gonna suck when I get married because of the gifts… I already own a house with everything I need. Probably going to just have everyone donate to a local animal shelter instead of gifts.

This is what happened with me. Nice to have stuff that is updated though, I had lots of hand me downs, etc from relatives.
