# Wednesday Night racing mystery

one car that comes to mind is alex’s hatchback, the car has already run an 11.6 on street tires and pump gas, so as it sits it has ran a faster time.

Good thing the street and ETs don’t match up that well.
But, yea, there’s not too much imports in that range sadly.

a lot could change on the street you are right, maybe the civic would be faster? you cant say either way, but what we do know is there are imports out there putting down those numbers. i think swift pulled out an 11.9 too didnt he?

You are right. I didn’t mean to say Jay was faster than any import just that he is one of the fastest and there aren’t many so he rarely should be beat.
Things have definately changed given the influx of Hondas but you have to admit that the 11 second imports are not exactly common. Probably about 10-15 imports have run an 11? That’s not a good %.

well considering there were maybe 3-5 11 second imports the year before, and 0 10 second imports it has come quite a ways. this year will be even better im sure. well see how jay does this year, hopefully he can reach the potential of the setup.

I said it might have not been him like 5 pages ago…
I dont know “Jays car” but he said he had a built motor, GT350R turbo and a front mount intercooler. Blue STI…after we ran, I talked to him for a while in a parking lot and he said he was only seeing 13-14psi cause he had a “leaking coupler” and was tuning his car.
He was a short, chubby guy.
