So I had the strangest dream last night, I was on Top Gear, and I was competing against James May. We both had to get a car ready and race it, using whatever they had kicking around their warehouse, we couldn’t source any additional stuff. He had an old Audi 80, and I had an S13 hatch 😃 What made it interesting, is that both cars were a complete shambles. His was an accident vehicle with the body pretty mangled and had to be banged straight and reinforced with tubular sections, and mine was a stripped car, missing a LOT of stuff. Most noteably… the engine… We each got help from those shop guys they have, but all the ideas behind it had to be ours. We managed to track down a KA block with rods & pistons, but everything else was missing… We eventually found a head, but it was completely missing the valvetrain, and we kinda gave up on that. I decided to jack the engine from the old Toyota Hillux pickup they had in the studio, and got the guys to fab up an adaptor plate to match it to the 5 spd. Woke up before the swap was done though ☹ Gave me a pretty cool idea though… Shitbox racing! Have two teams, with very very limited resources build a car from total junkers, and race them. There would be no class restrictions or anything like that, just both teams are given access to the same junkyard, and raid it for everything that they can get. Full tools are provided, but not additional parts. You have to cut metal out of other scrap cars to weld it to yours, etc… I’d watch that show 😃 ---

funny dream. but ur idea has already been a show. on tlc as junkyard wars. im sure u know it. basically the same idea as urs ---

Junk yard wars was a good show. They should make an updated version. What I think Anthony meant to say is have a show like junk yard wars but instead of building different things all the time it should be stickly cars. ---

meh you think thats bad man. i sell insurance for scotia bank. i had a dream that i was selling testicle insurance now thats fucked up… even woke up my wife saying testicles and it woke me up we looked at one another and just stared in aw like wtf did i just say. then fell asleep and woke her up again but this time i was making a ton of money doing it hahaha… thats a weird dream and when you know you need to quit your job ---
