# Weird Knocking Noise when Starting?

still on my stock KA in my Kouki…
so started yesterday, when I turn the key to start the car, there’d be a weird knocking noise as the starter is turning over the engine. And only when i’m starting the car, after engine is running, everything is normal.
Is it the starter? I’ve been told that the starter doesn’t sound strong to begin with, but its been the same for the past 2+ years.

getting it done later this afternoon… hopefully that is the problem and nothing else is f’d up.
