# Weird noise.

Alright driving the gf home tonight and i stop to say goodnight and make sure she gets in all right, im sitting there with the clutch in and i hear

No other way of describing it “u know the things that u get a new years that look like a rectangle on a stick and you spin to make noise”

It was only when i clutched in at lower speeds, Nightrider says its the throwout bearing, he thinks. THe sound is constant but will stop after a while of coasting and then start again. Does anyone have a definitive awnser for this, i need to fix this before next sunday.

If it is the throw out bearing is it drivable?

i have a constant noise when im not clutched in and in netural with engine running, its like silent sliding noise, i think its the main tranny bearing and its been like this for about a year now i didnt do anything,it should be okay for a bit, well you’ll definately know if its not driveable lol

sounds like the throw out bearing.

It’s like a $5 part.

But installation will suck balls.

its a pain in the ass to change though, even though its 5 bucks lol
