# Weird sound on start up

When my car is cold and i start it up it sounds like the timing chain rattles up to tension. Is this normal? this is first vehicle other than a truck i’ve had with a timing chain instead of a belt.

I’m just wondering if maybe my chain is too slack or there is something else wrong. I dont wanna take the valve cover off to take a look yet as this town is dusty as hell and i dont have a garage.
