i believe the TS did do it, but to a set of gears that were no longer being used. Solid joke.

He welded the main gear of the unit itself to the ring gear? something like that i dotn know the exact term
rather than weld the spider gears inside the Differential caseing he welded the input shaft gear to the ring gear
