I would like to have someone, preferably a certified weldor, teach me how to weld. I guess to start with I just want to learn MIG. I have done some welding with Flux core but I want to make some larger things that could hold some weight, so I need to trust the welds. Obviously I will pay the person for their time and I could do it at my shop. I don’t have a welder so if this person had one they could bring or I could pick it up, that would be great. **I’m pretty much just looking for someone to come into my shop for an afternoon and show me the basics and I can go from there.**

Is this available to anyone? Seems like a great deal. I took welding I & II at ERIE 1 BOCES. It was a good course but the price has doubled since I went I believe. When I took it ran 350 per course but now its 650 I think.

You can save a lot of practice time if people show you the right way to practice.
