# Well my car is up and running.

well say what you want… there are some situations in the past that may have proven that… but as a general sterotype, i dont think is justified.
i just know that it takes alot of power to get a heavy ass boat like a supra into the 10’s and eventually into the 9’s … every car is different
shit i saw a old rx7 in a magazine that was running high 9’s off 3XXrwhp and stood the front up 2 feet of the ground!! so compared to that car, mustangs would be dyno queens too!!
dont forget supras are highway queens too, one place where the supra would beat the cobra 🙂

how so? I think your RX7 comparison is a little drastic… but I have def seen Foxbody Mustangs getting into the 10’s easily on 3XX RWHP as well.
It’s called a high stall convertor
But in the realm of modified vehicle, the Supra is on the drastic end of the spectrum for performaning up to its potential powerwise. Most other cars you can compare all will perform in a certain close range of each other, within the same power levels.

i seen a cobra hang with ENZO so i think a supra couldnt be much more to take…i also know that there isn much difference between a 500hp supra and 800hp supra. except someone put a live axle and gears and drag suspension

500hp Supra with live axle, gears, and an auto, should kick the shit out of a manual IRS 800hp supra

stock config or no? Xtc motorsports got their Turbo 03 to run 8.8 with a 6spd
keep in mind, the Cobra has only been around for about 2 years (terminator)

no not stock config, but i mean all interior and the stock 6spd, and not some juiced up tranny.
