I sold the Metro Jeff swapped the G13B into. I used the cash to: 1. Pay off some debt. 2. Buy my mom’s car (1995 Metro, fresh inspection and needs nothing). and I somehow ended up with my friend’s black FC RX-7. I think it’s an 88 GTU. Clean body + no rust, but it needs a motor. I have no clue what I’m going to do now. VisionRX7 (with whom I share a garage in Ben Avon) has suggested a few cheap motor swaps, but I’m going to finish paying off some old debt before I start sinking cash into another project. ---

I loved my purple Metro. It was a good runner and I had it doing 110 MPH on rt 22 in new alex. Everyone made fun of it but guess what they all wanted to take when we went out. I bought it brand new and had it until 2001. I never had any trouble with it. ---

(Don’t think I’m a dick who stole my mom’s car. I gave her a few hundred for it, which she put towards a 2005 Hyundai Elantra GLS today. She got the five door, with four wheel discs and the GT suspension for under $14k. I’m totally sold on Korean cars now…she got a lot more for her money than if she had bought a Japanese car.) ---

Kia has (or had) a class action law suit against them because the vehicles were randimly catching on fire. That was before Hyundai bought them. ---

I dunno what year it was, but its farily new. The assholes sold the night audit lady at the hotel (who goes 48 years old, 3 packs a day, 5’5, 220lbs) a car with no power steering. What the fuck kind of car doesnt have power steering? Where the fuck does that decision come from? “Well Chip, we can shave another $75 off the sticker by not having power steering. Lets do it”. The thing rattles and has the feel of a car with 150,000+ miles, but its got less that 25K. The shifter is the most god awful feeling contraption ive ever driven. The crappyness of that tranny is beyond words. You’d just have to drive it. Its almost undriveable. ---

My Metro didn’t have power steering. I was 5’3" and 115 pounds… I had no trouble driving it. Eurodad bitched about all the time. ---
