Nah thats a N/A 3800 motor. Great motor, can’t hurt that thing. I always wondered about those things, do the automatic transaxles hold up at all? Nice cop car, much better than those shitty dodge intrepids… ---

Thanks guys, Yeah its the 3800 Series II V6.200hp,225tq. The car has 104K miles on it.Runs and drives great,smooth,quiet,ect… I was mainly just looking for something different for a change.Also i wanted something more practical.I have had plenty of Crown Vics and Caprices over the years. The only mod i added so far is the K&N CAI.I do plan on adding a lower temp thermostat,PCM reprogram,and maybe a HVIII intake insert. These 9C1 Impala’s are beefed up quite well.They have everything you would expect a Cop car to have.Later i will try and find the specs and post them up. ---

I believe the tranny was replaced @ around 80K miles.GM has never really been known for having strong transmissions.I plan on keeping this car maintained to the fullest.I am also very anal with my cars and i don’t beat the hell out of them so that helps lol.I figured the Cops beat on them enough. I payed $4,600 for the car.However at least i know what i was getting.When you buy ex-police cars from a auction you never really know what your getting and what problems the car may have.The only real good thing about getting these cars from auction is they normaly go for dirt cheap… ---
