On my widescreen TV, the local news does not take up the whole picture. When watching a true HD picture, it fills the entire screen. The national news fills the whole screen… ---

If you are talking about the HDTV WGRZ bars down the side, THAT IS NOT HD!! and they have been doing that for about 5 months. If it is full screen HD then this is new to me. ---

NO, no more bars on the 11 o’clock news… full 16:9 HDTV … first time ive EVER seen them do that ---
