# What can I use to safely clean this??

It’s really not that big of a deal… My alternator gets sprayed with water every time my car sees rain. Just dont jam a hose into it and you’ll be fine.

its ok to get basically everything oem wet under the hood. but in case you dont dig that, they make simple green wipes !

simple green for sure!! that stuff is awesome, i always spray my motor down w/ a hose, im just careful not to blast electrical stuff and then i blow it off w/ compressed air and use about a whole can of tire wet on everything!!!

the tire wet will hurt more shit than the water after time it will sludge up the eletrical shit in the alt ;D

idk? i’v done it for ever on all my cars, and with any sort of luck ill beable to find a zr1 before it sludges anything up!
