# What compliments an old unreliable British bike.......

[SUP]Another old unreliable British bike.
I was looking for something to learn to ride on and immediately thought what better bike to learn on then cutting edge 1930’s British technology featuring dual drum brakes and famed British reliability? Sign me up! So I found this on Craigslist being sold at Jims Motorsports in Weedsport NY and called him up. He said the owner was only selling it due to an injury and no longer being able to kick it over. Said he sold the owner the bike a few years back and it was a mostly original bike with a few minor exceptions. Currently on the road, running well, recent Avons, what the hell I thought? Jim said that the bike was a 20 foot bike-I said that’s perfect as I am a 20 foot person. Sort of forgot about the bike for a bit and called to see if it was still for sale. Obviously it was as I’m typing this lame story up, I tried to make plans to get out there and see it, but I kept having issues. A week later it was still on line, price lowered a cunt hair, so I called and asked if I could drop a check in the mail and eventually pick it up? He wanted me to come out and see it before buying it, I told him I wasn’t going to be a faggot and come out and cry about slight pitting on the rims of a 43 year old bike. Collected the bike last night. Exactly as described. Fired up the 3rd kick but it was the 3rd kick by someone other then a goon such as myself.

10k rpms-L O FUCKING L The bike shakes worse then Michael J Fox on a trampoline during the 1964 Alaska earthquake, it stops for shit, the headlight is about a bright as a tea light in a dirty glass lantern, and the shifter is on the right of the bike, I’ve never ridden a bike I haven’t had to self propel-AWESOME!!![/SUP]

I think I’m going to fashion up a tow bar contraption. I will tow a spare bike at all times with me so when the one I’m riding breaks down, I will swap it. Kind of like a spare tire, but far less reliable.
