From 8:00am - 5:00pm I’m an Administrative Assistant for Project Management Consulting Firm. We are currently working on the Crawford Area school district renovations, Mars High, North Allegheny high and several Parks and Emergency Centers.
From 6:00pm - 9:00pm I’m an Adminitratie Assistant for a Phsych Office. Its in my field and my boss is awesome. Its a wonderful night job that I’m really going to enjoy. (Just started this week)

Officially, title is “Software Engineer”.
Mainly, I write installation software assembling complex pieces of software into a usable package. Every day is a software release for our team: well over 700 people rely on using the deployment package daily to do their day-to-day R&D and code development.
I have a fairly deep knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Macrovision Admin Studio, Macrovision InstallShield, Microsoft Windows Installer and many programming languages. I have an understanding of Linux and UNIX operating systems and a good knowledge with respect to firewalling, ssh, user account management and SysV init service configuration.
Also, I dabble in Tier 2/3 Customer Support and IT work some days (mainly when their department asks me to help), doing automated product installation scripting, error log analysis, troubleshooting problems with installations, custom installation recommendations, etc.
* * *
Did I just write part of a resume’? Nah, but it gives you a feel for what it’s like a little better than saying “Software Engineer”…that’s just a fraction of what I do on a day to day basis.
It pays the bills and I can’t think of anything I’m more well suited for, either. Do I like it? Some days it’s great, other days not so great. So, I’ll be a little flippant about it and say “It will hopefully result in a way to retire comfortably”.

I was officially hired as a network administrator for a civil engineering company. They design roadways, bridges, sanitary sewer systems, site plans, surveying, etc. I just make the computers work - along with anything else that plugs into the wall or has batteries.

Systems Engineer with Intergraph Corp. They’re based in Huntsville, AL, but I support the CAD network and CAD software for two PennDOT District offices in Oil City and Indiana, PA. Between the two I support about 120 workstations, 4 servers, several network printers and large format plotters.
I’m currently looking for a new job though cuz i’m at work at 7am and it takes 1.5 - 2 hrs to get to work everyday!
I’m getting an offer here soon in July from Premiere Global Services which specilizes in Web conferencing software. I’ll be doing Tier 2 Tech Support with them.
