I’m getting my tail lights LED’d soon and I will be buying a brand new set on EBay. Not sure which ones I wanna go with.
I think 2 is nice too…just not sure if it flows with my color.
I just updated the original post and added a side pic to show how it would look with my tint.

My tint is 35%. But it is metallic. Depending on how the light hits it from your view point, it can be smoked (see through for sure) or silverish (hard to see through).
I think I might go with number 2.

personally i hate tinted tails, but do whatever you like its your car!

led tails… i cant wait for the threads that will follow… my tail lights dont work anymore. just like the emissions issues you had…
unless they had the oem option of being smoked, i say no.

lol. How do you figure? They are plug’n’play using the stock tail light harnesses.
Emissions were due to a screwed up manifold that had a leak, and then lack of vac. lines after that manifold was swapped out for the stock one (since the other one didn’t need them). Been much better since figured both out.

Do what you like.
I personally would go with #2 if you’re doing the LED’s. Are there “J-Spec” taillights for the Maxima that are different than the USDM lights?

go with option number 1…the smoked ones just look like they havnt been washed in weeeks…option 1 looks cleaner

No there isn’t. Just headlights (Nissan Cefiro).

How about this stillen kit?
I’m not yet decided on the lights or the kit but just looking to see what you guys thinking since most of you have probably never seen a modded Maxima lol.
