i like first gen GTs (running mid-low 14s for $500 is proper), i don’t like any second gens or the V6 first gen. ---

klze and solid mounts= broken transmissions. i guess its a good car if your gunna use it as a winterbeater. by the way…it is a ford. ---

yea i wouldnt do anything to it i think u would have a problems with it and it wont be worth it unless its a beater. ( fix or repair daily) ---

by the way, isn’t this thing FWD! :S definitely that along with the Ford title, makes me want to stir away…heck I’d still try one out maybe it’d justify itself, lol ---

used to drive the 2nd gen v6 gt back in gr.11 they were OK back then but then i didn’t know anything about cars i would never drive one now. trust me even a beat up s13 is better than a probe (but i’m FR biased) just the name alone is kinda gay… a PROBE for shitsakes ---

actually 2 gen probes are mazdas, but whatever. 1st gen probe turbos were stink fast, cause of the ol 2.3t under the hood. those motors are capable of alot boost and can put down some serious torque #'s. peace ---

1st gen probes were mazdas too, and it was a 2.2L, not a 2.3L one of the most indestructible motors i have ever seen, non interference, forged internals from factory. a friend of mine blew his turbo to bits (running with the wastegate unplugged) and half of the turbo went through the motor, all he had to do was change the plugs because the tips were mashed and the motor ran mint again (with a new turbo of course) ---

I drove a 2nd gen V6. Would be a decent DD, decent winter beater. Fast than a stock 240. I imagine its an all around decent car, if your into the FWD thing. ---

1st gen ftw. my friend had one and its alot of fun if u just want a super cheap fast car. But they are junk still imo. ---
