your right, must be getting confused with the t-bird turbo coupe. all i remember is back in the day i drove one once it was pretty quick but it  
also had a ton of torpue streer.

I owned it for almost 3 years. Great car, had it as a DD. It pulls well for a stocker, and handles pretty nice for a FWD. And yes, it was a joint effort between Ford and Mazda. The motor is a Mazda KL03 and the upgrade is the Japanese KLZE. Interior is very nice, and it comes with a stock 8" sub in the trunk and a stock amp.

The engine bay is tight. Way too much crap, so it’s hard to work on. Other than that it’s a really nice car. I personally regret selling it.

Oh and waaaaay too many idiotic ricers drive them. Check out their forum, it’s totally gay:
