cayuga and mosport are not spectator friendly on the road courses… they take a lot of $$$ to get them set up to make money and then no one shows up ---

If only there was a local track built. Im sure there is enough demand, just needs to be conveniently located. But then again, regulations and soccer moms will complain of street racers and noise pollution. ---

Hopefully this Fort Erie track actually happens. The tracks we do have in Ontario are horrible for spectating and really that is what it all comes down too. I think something could happen at Shannonville with a grandstand in the infield but like it has been mentioned previously, not enough supporters in Ontario to profit from the events. Don’t let the Mosport event fool you, come to St. Eustache…the place sells out and the fans are nuts. I only wish we had events in Ontario, the minimum 6 hour drives are brutal. Gas, hotel, trailer tires and entry fees are enough to put a privateer well above their budget. ---

didn’t they have this at downsview one time? I remember seeing a drift event there I just don’t remeber if it was dmcc. It was okay, pretty small course though and I doubt they were ever going over 80km. ---

It’d be cool if they did a “streets of toronto” type thing like they do “streets of atlanta” with Formula D. ---

well i went the past 3yrs to mosport and im pretty bummed theres no action this year,its was a blast,look at some sick cars even hotter women,with a cold beer an a nice doob…what more could u want…tabernac it will be missed ---

ya but there was something about downsveiw not wanting to help pay to repair/replace where they drifted. if you ask me that was a pretty sick spot. Everyone can argue there isn’t a following but if you think about it there is. the sport just isn’t marketed properly over here for anyone to care ---
