I used to work for CA1 (the catering service) at the Buffalo airport and damn near rolled our Chevy van when I cut a little too close behind a 747 that was powering up to taxi out. When I worked there 747 did not come to Buffalo very often, but this one was some international flight that had to make a minor emergency landing. Cutting behind 737 spooling up = little rocks pelting off van. Cutting behind 747 spooling up = 2 wheels and steering away as fast as you can. ---

We were down in the caribbean and we were parked on a ramp just slope slightly up… having to spool up to almost 85% to get it moving, I’ve never seem shit fly like that. Tents, tires, and a cart full of bottles of compressed oxygen (5000psi a piece). That was a good time lol. That and TRT runs in the desert, and the sandstorm that it creates into tent city lol
