# What have I done? Car won't start

While installing new water pump I turned engine over to get at bolt on fan. Car started ran for a seconed then shut off. I had the intake disconeccted. Didn’t think much of it. Now after finished car cranks but no run. I have battery disconecced right now to see if that will reset somethig?

Got it started. Needed a lot of cranking but fired up. No more panic here. :lol:

What happened when you started the car without the MAF on the car was readinf no airflow while starting so dumped a hell of alot of fuel in and flooded the engine.

No air no fuel, makes sense. It did feel as if the fuel was cut off. Thanks.

My bad, wtf was I thinking/smoking 😛  
I ment the computer was reading no air so it was giving no fuel. :oops:
