Seems to me everyone has there own definition of the term Ricer? Whats urs? Most people will say someone who drives a car modified pointlessly others say its more or less a person who is reckless in there driving habits, and does little to educate them selves about there own vehical…(this one is my pick on what a ricer is) “One persons rice is another persons gourmet meal” ---

non-functional mods. acting as if non-functional mods make one badass. ie. roof scoops on any front engine car car… gawd i hate that I think the term conspicuous consumption is a pretty good way at describing the behaviour ---

Prolly the worst place to post this, everyone seems to have serious ego issues. Either way it depends on how you view rice to begin with. I think we all have a little ricer in us (lol… Mark, I’m predicting your reply as I type this), but it’s how you balance it out in the end that matters. I think the line that sets apart “rice” from “not rice” is when someone asks you why you did something, and you can answer it without being ashamed of your answer. ---

Not a lot of you will agree with me on this one but this is what Rice is to me when I see a car: Rims that are put on for the sake of having different rims. Usually doesn’t even look good with the car and has shitty offset and width. This one applies to a lot of S13s i have seen. Black side skirts, rear bumper, black hood, on a car that isn’t black. It looks brutal especially on a red car. Getting a lot of hardcore track stuff for a car that only goes to a weekly 240 meet. Putting a lot of non functional stuff on the car of course. ---

Rice the car: Any non functional OR performance decreasing (ie 3" Cat back on a NA 4 banger) mod, also anything super flashy (ie neon behind an IC or under body) That would be the way to define a CAR as rice for me. Rice the person: Anyone who talks tons of shit about “track driving” but has never even been to one to prove their “theories”. Also people who brag about things they have accomplished in their car that is complete and obvious BS. IE: Bigger brakes don’t increase braking performance and wider tires don’t improve handling. (Both with in reason of course) ---

since when do you have a 5one5 sticker?
