They’re saying less companies are wanting to advertise on facebook because of the economic situation, so facebook is losing money.

All of those sites are meaningless and they all calculate it differently. Traffic is a statistic but not a driver of market value. Revenue and profit potential are the primary drivers of value and they are completely subjective for websites like this.
If we had half the members and traffic that we do but we were all multi-millionaires and using this site to discuss venture-capital opportunities the site would be worth millions. Those calculators only look at traffic, not demographics or application.

Bing, correct, these tools are typically used to estimate ad revenue.

SON’s worth lies in the members, not in its numbers…I personally think that SON is a very valuable forum, as many canadian noobs came to have a better understanding and appreciation of older cars…and although the members have questionable behaviours, there is a ton of info on this site that has lead to meets that im sure have helped a ton of people who were in a pinch so…
final words, for 240 owners, SON is the shit…but the behaviour is also SHIT (and we all know what I’m talking about)
