Before any more bickering takes place, I believe all the people in control will be meeting tonight to discuss what’s going on and settle their differences. I do believe some major forum restructuring will be on it’s way, but it’s completely unreasonable to have 2 forums, especially for vendors or anyone trying to sell stuff since they have to monitor both forums at all times.
Hopefully all this non-sense will end tonight and all the domains will be forwarded to a single host.

I’d also like to point out the sneaky email sent out by the “SON240SX Administration”:

This was quite obviously intended to convince the membership that the forum residing at .org was being run by the “hackers” / scammers who hacked/stole the database to begin with. So basically “someone” at .ca used their admin power to mislead everyone about the situation, instead of explaining it straight up. When I read this email, it was before I knew anything of this mess, and of course I trusted it because of the source…
This underhanded email really makes me distrust the .ca admin… if you had used the mass email to truthfully explain the situation, things may have been different.
I too hope this is resolved and we can all rejoin on an agreed-upon domain. I also hope that the admin get together and form new structure, record-keeping, and rules.

No more sneaky then telling everyone the site has been changed without it actually being agreed upon by all parties. But different circumstances…

It was stolen, the database, the member list, everything was stolen and used on .org/net without Andrews consent.
It is the same thing as Gonad taking your wheels while you are sleeping without asking you and then saying, “But I will use them better than you!”

Fair enough, guess I’m just really annoyed to have to deal with this, its way more drama than a fucking CAR CLUB needs :rolleyes: Guys, meet up and get this figured out, its only fair to the people who make this site possible (us).

I don’t see it that way at all, if Gonads claims are true. Also, lets face it, Gonad “stole” the **content** of the site, nothing more… and who really owns that? The people who posted all that shit own it, and this really is a fight over them, the membership, who both Gonad and Andrew claim to be working for. So your analogy about the wheels doesn’t fit.

Yeah most people will be annoyed, just rise above and do your own thing…
Content on the site is technically public domain, however, there is a law against intellectual theft. But it’s not worth fighting for unless someone was stealing a patentable idea.
Thats the problem with people stealing intangible ideas or things.
