Pre-production Turbocharger kit from PIC racing circa 2002. ~$3500
Back before people put turbos on j-bodies it looked like a decent kit. Then it was months late and shitty quality. The installer was also a total ass clown. (me)

Probably the pair of shoes I spent $150 on at the mall here. I thought I was getting some quality shoes. Looked like leather and the sales man said they could be resoled. The sole cracked after 2 months so I brought them back, which they subsequently gave me a new pair. Those new pair lasted 6 months, then when I went to have them resoled the shoe shop said they weren’t able to resole them. I was legitimately uber upset about this.
I can’t say I’ve purchased a car which I now feel poorly about.
Maybe all the neons and subs I had in my S-10 in high school, but I had a blast with it at the time so that is how I rationalize it.

1997 Seville STS with 78k for 5k. Wife had a 94 Eldorado with 115k that was perfect and never had any problems with. When we found out we were having a baby she wanted to get a 4 door and the STS was the closest thing to her Eldorado. Well we found a great deal so we jumped, sold the eldo for 4k and bought this STS for 5k. Well within the first week it had burned 3qts of oil in 300ish miles. It was bought as is do I couldn’t do anything about it. I ended up having to have 1 head rebuilt and then had a new bottom end from GM shipped in and I installed it. 4k later the only good thing about it is now the engine has 100k warrenty, so we’re covered for another 92k. If we were to sell it we’d probably get no more than 5k, haha

'92 F150 for my first car in college when all I needed was cheap transpo like a Civic or Sentra. But NOOooo I wanted a truck. :picard: I pissed away so much money on gas and repairs at a time when I had no money to piss away…

The previous owner neglected to mention that 1 of the 2 drivers side door hinge bolts had sheared off until we arrived in NYC with a trailer ready to pick the car up. Just ask BStrong and MPD :lol:

Replace f-150 with Chevy Blazer…that’s what I did as well. Although I replaced an eclipse with a 3kgt prior to that, GOD I WANT MY FUCKING ECLIPSE BACK!
