I’ve been just browsing around maybe looking to pick up a new vid card for my laptop and came across this. What gets me, is the Go series are actual cards…I know nothing about this stuff but would like to upgrade my 7800 Go to something a bit more powerful. Would this be something I’d be looking for, or is this not the part I should be buying?

its a mobile video card, but it doesnt really seem like a big increase if you already have a 7800. With only a 100mhz clock increase, there probably wont be much of a difference. Also I’m pretty sure that it is not a 512mb card as the ebay auction states.

That being said, yes, in theory, you should be able to upgrade your laptop.
