# What is wrong with my TV

my tv has been doing this for a while now and happens a lot more when i use it to watch movies on my blu-ray player but still happens every so often when watching regular cable. see pictures
as you can see the color gets messed up but only on certain colors and it only happens when it is first turned on then goes away after a few minuets. it has been in the repair shop for almost 2 months cause it is still under warranty and i called today asking what is going on and they said that they could not reproduce what was happening even though the owner of the repair shop came to pick it up and saw for himself what it was doing. they told me to take a picture of it the next time it happened and guess what, as soon as i turn it on it happens.
anyone have any suggestions?

What brand is this? I see a lot of Vizio and Olivia TV’s with similar issues. Pretty sure it can not be fixed. The TV has to be replaced.

It looks like you are focusing on a scene with a monitor/screen in it.
A lot of times, if you are watching a live broadcast and they show a monitor, you can see the lines being drawn in the picture.
Also I’ve noticed with Time Warner, we get a lot more pixelation on the High Def channels

i sometimes see that when im hooked up to my vga cable and its loose.

yes it is a monitor but no thats not what it is it does it on other things, that is just the first thing i saw it on

if it’s going away after the TV is on for a while it’s probably not the cable or the source.

Try a different HDMI cable
