_This is not to talk about sex, or racism mag_

i am looking for some new mags

What magazines do you subscribe to? And how do you rate the content: i.e.

step by step how too’s

advertisement

vendors

number of pages

price

I have:

Dirt rider: (off road motorcycling) great over all, product testing A+, needs less of the same ad’s

Racer: (all types of racing) A+ on articles, but that is all it has

Handyman: (home improvement) A+ on articles, but needs more product reviews

GrassRootsMotorspots: (all types of racing) They ended my subscription a year early! Was great until then… will go back when I am done being mad at them!

# **How To: :uhh: Advertisements/vendors:  Size: :meh: Price: :gotme:**

Modified Magazine: Sometimes good how to’s, very good column called “Driver Training” by Mike Speck  . Tarzan’s column is pretty entertaining too. Decent coverage on JGTC, D1 GP Drift, Speed World Challenge, Formula D, etc. Some of the models are kinda cute. Keep up on the trends so I can be one step ahead (i.e. if they feature it, it’s probably played out 🙂 )

Car and Driver - Good car ads, great writing, great car reviews.

Trailer Boats - Gets me my boating fix during those long Buffalo winters.

Popular Mechanics - Too much advertising, but still the best techy mag out there.

Max PC. $4.95 for 3 years on ebay…good reviews and keeps me current.
Automobile…Free, good for looking at detailed reviews of exotics and normal cars and specs.

maxim -meh, its not really that sweet anymore

slap magazine -soo cheap. all right. not as good as Big Brother, but noone ever will be. used to get Thrasher, but when it expired once year i never renewed. transworld has great photos, too, but its a bit too pussy/clean cut

grassroots motorsports -already reviewed. yes its awesome.

used to get roundel (didnt renew bmwcca yet). its cool, got some cool stuff, but some stuff is too preppy-bmw-prickish for me
