# what stand alone is best

The thread title is asking about “the best” and you mention Megasquirt?

To the OP, before we can talk about best, perhaps you can tell us your budget because that is likely more of a limiting factor.

a) Best under $1000?  
b) Best under $3000?  
c) Best under $10000?  
d) Best under $30000?
