Your saying that the SBC was NOT the replacement for the stovepipe I6 ?? and that the ford FSB came out a year before that ?? you may want to deny history bud … but it still happened…
A V8 from anyone that’s not a 2.8L turbo by Cosworth I don’t want to know it. I’d take a YBT or an FJ20 over a JDM/USDM V8 anyday.
50-100 doesn’t need to be overcome… by the wankel the suspension setup will do it for me… noob.

LOL no more like if your front aero package and suspension/profile is in clean air and working fine then how does it react in say a passing move at high speed or in a draft … all of this including car weight play a roll …

I find it extremely funny how you are so high strung on the matter of weight…
when your supra had a fully molded bodykit which contained more cheese then the Saputo cheese factory

dude!! the MKIII was built for my MOM to drive … also it’s a frikin GT car … not a sports car… get a clue. as for cheese it may have some on it… but most of it is epoxy/ CF /glass grind the rear bumper is 100% CF and with a lic plate weights in at 8lbs.

You mean you removed the rear bumper reinforcement bar along with the special foam padding so the rear bumper can weight in at 8lbs???
You know the outcome of the above actions could have been quite dangerous to your mothers health had you let your MOM take the car to the local grocery store…

DTS you issed the point, the car was built for my mom, what she does with it is her concern… i drive it like a GT car… nice and fast on the hwy… it’s not a street racer. even at 2800lbs it’s a cruiser… that’s what GT means… grand touring…

I sleep quite well knowing that the car is better built and stonger with a hybird frame on rail /unibody then 90% of straight unibodies… also with a seat that is 100lbs and a 4 point harness that she loves along with frame bars on the rear towers… I’m not worred about her… just my CF bumper

because the 87s started coming turrrrbooo…
and even N/As had options like sport adjustable suspension, power seats and LSD rear end…
did you have the car weighed or was the floor jack a little easier to pump??

Is this track a circle? And define race-prepped please. With a 0-100 of 4.6 seconds, a bone stock Elise is by no means slow. The C6 Z06 will put down a slightly better time, but even with prodigious OMFG USDM TYTE V8 POWWA y0!! w00t w00t! h4XX0rzzzz frame design and whatever the hell else, it won’t handle better than the Elise which weighs a THOUSAND lbs LESS!! That’s ONE FAT AMERICAN ASS LESS than the Z06 C6. No. It won’t. Never. Even if you bend or break the 2nd law of thermodynamics. No. Even if you get magical super-stick rubber and Harry Potter on steroids is driving it and shifting with his wizard’s wand. Put it on a real track and the Elise will take a dump (or several dumps) on the chubby domestic competition.

I weighed the parts that came off vs what went on. agains the delivery weight of the vehicle DOn’t know who told you about the car but they didn’t see ALL the work that was done to get it down to that weight. allot of aluminum and comoly parts replaced allot of heavy cheap easy to make metal box and suspension structures… If it doesn’t sell this pring then I will dump a turbo on and blow it up, then drop in a 1JZ

You’ve obviously never heard a tuned high compression road race V8 have you? you sound like a JDM and JDM only band wagon jumper.
I can appreciate ALL cars…all I can say, is you guys are missing out on some serious fun if imports are the only thing that can turn your crank.
