instead of the N/A auto tranny model you decided on.

my motor was never in any cavalier, you are thinking of the n/a 2.2 ecotec fro the later year cavys but they even changed it a little from how it was in the cavys it has a bit more power and electric steering ,

so you are trying to tell me that a naturally aspirated four cylinder automatic transmission that runs low to mid 15’s in the 1/4 mile is not a good performer? show me another 4 cylinder automatic car that is n/a that does that.

i’m saying racing a 4cyl automatic is :greddy:
if your gonna race it…why the hell did you get an auto?
its not a “Good” performer…its an average performer
i don’t know exact figured off the top of my head but i think there are other 4cyl that run those times? Mazda3, newmiata, RSX, sentra SER, etc…

well for many reasons i had to buy an automatic, i do know how to drive a stick…anyway its mostly just a daily driver that i want to be fairly quick nothing wrong with an automatic, i think you misunderstood what i was trying to say, all those cars you listed that do better 1/4’s are manual. i said automatic 4 cyl’s that do better times. so i would say for being an auto 4 it is a great performer

i don’t think they are any slower then the mighty cobolt
they are all 15-16sec cars.

aveo = dawoo
cav = coblat
ecotech has alot of potential though…

again read what you quoted, i KNOW how to drive a stck but didnt have the oppurtunity to buy one, and in my experience most 4 cyl autos run in the high 16’s to the 20’s in the 1/4 mile is all im trying to say. and im racing it because its fun, that should be a good enough reason, also im not saying that my car is the greatest im just saying i think its a good car with all things considered. please dont be offended or anything im just trying to get my point across
