Pretty much for some web surfing - but I need some range - however, I can always replace the antennas for that. Might do a little video streaming (nothing HD)

Would like to spend under 75 bucks.

Looks like good ol’ [http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833124010](http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833124010)

will have to do me good, but i can’t replace the antennas…

WRT54G usually does the trick.
tried and true?

I have one for 25 bucks if you want it.
But really, you can’t go wrong with one.

If you’re going to use it for xbox or something, make sure you get a WRT54G that’s version 3.0 or earlier [I guess people say the newer versions don’t work with xbox live]

But yep yep.
WRT54G is usually the way to go.

If you have verizon or something, you could go with a Modem + wireless router all in one deal.
That’s what I went with, because my old verizon modem took a dump.
So I found it cheaper to get one of those things for 79 bucks at walmart :]
