I did look at other bikes but the $1K +/- wasn’t worth it to me. The CBR got lighter in 07, so I decided that the few extra bux was worth it. Plus, I’ll keep it longer than if I got an older bike. I know Sam’s 03 sold for $5K… I can get one that is 4 years newer, lighter and only 2400 miles for ~$2k more(from a dealer). ---

It’s definitely a fantastic bike and I plan on researching something similar in the next few months… but I guess my point is that it’s one hell of a first bike… IMHO ---

Doesn’t mean it’s difficult. A lot of bikes require drilling. ---

mileage? power commander? who owned it… the fact that it has rearsets makes me think it was raced or dropped… what are they asking for it? ---

Went to look at it… looks pretty nice, clean. Lowest they would go is $6800… might have to pull the trigger, I’ll wait til friday to think it over. :tup: ---
