ok so you just got a job that requires you to drive 50000 - 80000 per annum and you have a car allowance granted to you for payments/Insurance. your getting around $450 so that leave about 250 - 275 for a car payment (8 - 12G est). So what car would you buy?? p.s. you already have a nice 240sx for a Fun driver so performance is not overly important. ---

250-275 is shit, Nutta is right, you can pretty much only get a Yaris, TDIs are f\*in expensive. ---

ya, gas is not THAT bad because i get it paid for I have also been think something like a 1998-99 A42.8 2002 Ford excape (better on gas then the audi and also good for lugging stuff around) 2000 Subie Legacy Gt Jetta Tdi among other Ideas. ---

Oh, if you end up getting a Yaris, pirate it out. Take off the “is”, put on a couple of “r” s an put jolly roger stickers on it. Invest in a parrot too if you can. ---

Marc is right a Yaris is your best bet, they are great on fuel and very reliable, yes a TDI is even better on fuel but being a VW it’s reliability doesn’t even come close to a Yaris and the cost of parts on a tdi are not either. Plus Uncle Yaris is from Europe! My cousin back home has a Yaris and they realy are great cars. /\ /\ does not look good to me, the Cheapest one I found is over my limit, I want to be closer to 11G and they go form 14-18G’s I was also thinking of a small SUV like the Escape becasue it has alright Milage and I can move car shit around, you can even Toe a 240 with it
