# what year miata?

At that price it better have a couple class track records and quite a few podium finishes.

Although RM may not be super competitive.

Dollar for dollar I’d rather have a car that raced and put away wet than a used car off of the street. With a Japanese car all the maintenance you need to know is how to change the oil, bleed the brakes, and change brake pads. Buy sorted, use the time that you would have spent wrenching driving instead.

I’d say for $6,5 this is a good starting point:

I was just referencing a Spec Miata to give you an idea of what it may cost to buy a car that was ready to race.
