I am looking for a good web page template to use for listing stuff online. I would like to try and do it inexpensively, and would rather not re-invent the wheel trying to do something myself. Would prefer a MySQL or SQLite database. Don’t really care if it is PHP or Ruby on rails, or something else, but the first two are preferred.

Long story short, my grandfather is an antique/junk dealer, and has been for as long as I have known him. Well, he recently had his license revoke, and can’t drive, so i would like to try and help him out by putting some of his stuff online. he currently has 4 12x24 storage buildings FULL of stuff (that we know of, which is down from 7), and his house, yard and garage are packed. Some good stuff, some, not so good. So I am going to try and help him list some stuff, and see if we can’t reduce his “Inventory”

All I am looking to do is to be able to give an item an ID Number, Catagory, Title, Description, price, condition at minimum for display. I would also like it to be able to display between 4 and 12 pictures of each item.

Thanks for any help. If anyone is looking for some old stuff, send me a message.

Here’s a brief list of some of the stuff:

4 anvils
REA railroad baggage cart
numerous 10-60 ton screw jacks
hammers and sledges of various weight
Fire hydrants
train/ship bells
decorative vintage heating grates/cover
cannon balls
cast iron urns
Coffee mills
overhead hay loaders
wrought iron fence panels
hand pumps
golf clubs, wood tennis rackets, baseball bats
hand tools of all kinds
old rr lanterns
yard sticks (atleast 3 bundles of them 24" in diameter.)

and much more… So you can see why I would like to get this organized somewhere.

Thanks for any help.
