# What's a semi-interesting DD for 25K?

I know they had some HPFP issues but I thought that had been resolved through software updates. Something about cavitation.

HPFP, Injectors, Water pump, intake build up, turbo, wastegates, etc
There is a reason you can buy a 2008 335i for 16k now :lol:

yeah literally the only negative, my e90 with snows was a beast to drive in the snow and a ton of fun. Should have a worry there

My waterpump just went on Wednesday. The parts alone are about $600.
However, other than a coil pack giving me issues ($35 part and easy to change) this car has been very reliable and fun. No HPFP issues. Turbos are fine. Wastegates rattle which is annoying, but not hurting anything. And i’m about to hit the 100k mile mark.
The common issues really tanked resale for these cars but that just means if you do your research and find a good example you can get into a fun car for a great price.

diesel is horrible right now when you look at the cost of gas.
can probably get into a CPO audi A3 with the 2.0T (that chips to 270/320) and AWD.

Turbo, awd, plenty of cargo space. You would just have to fabricate a turbo set up (you ever do that before? May be a bit outside of your comfort zone)
