# Whats that noise?

Every time i start my car the past few days a hear a whine type noise coming from the rear end of car. Only happens for a sec. any ideas?

While your driving or just sitting there.

If its while your sitting there start lookin for a new fuel pump thats the usual sign of it on its last leg.

It could also be your radio antenna motor failing… that is if you have one.

Ahhh true true, listen to where the sound is coming from.  
Get a friend to start up your car with you standing behind the car with the trunk open.

If its from the plate to the right of the spare tire its the fuel pump.  
If its coming from the left side wall of the trunk its the Power Antenna.

Another thing it could be for those of you with hicas is the hydraulic soloniods failing.
