Brand new? Either the new Mustang V6 or Mazdaspeed 3, without a doubt. Used? Shit, man… That’s a broad horizon. Cossey made a good case with an R32, but good luck finding one that’s actually legal and just hope the government doesn’t find a loophole to take it away from you.
Best bang for your buck is something you can pick up cheap and throw money into. Late 80s / early 90s Mustang, Mk. 3 Supra… Shit, you can pick up a Conquest TSi in Massachusetts now if it’s still up on 240sxONE. Something cheap, throw some money into it, and you’ll have a car that will outperform $60,000 cars.
