1990 Pontiac Grand Am - $300 This car got me through several frigid Troy winters and increased my 8 AM class attendance percentage to 5.7% for the semester. Eventually earned a diploma and a nice paying job working as chief hedger. No it’s not fund management- my work actually involves trimming shrubs at an apartment complex. In other words, I am only two promotions away from driving a penile compensator from Sant’Agata, Bolognese. Notable features included sagging headliner (a common theme in my rides) and a temperature sensitive passenger side window that never came back up whenever it hovered above 25 F. Plus the ability to remove the key from the ignition while doing a constant 70 on the way to the movies made for a good ice-breaker on those iffy first dates. Perhaps best of all- the car was sold for $580 to a knocked up ex-DiCarlos employee. We had agreed on $600 but when it came time to dole out the cash- she was $20 short. No, it wasn’t in singles. That was ten years ago, but my boys who remember this car STILL rag on me about it not having been $580 and a lap dance… ---

Im 6’3" and cant drive in that position. The seat back has to be pretty much straight up for me. ---

I drive with the seat wicked far back. Its more comfortable for a tall guy like myself. ---
