Sorry for going off topic but what is the difference in chassis rigidity between a regular eclipse and the spyder version? ---

I will document a bunch of the differences, more so I can put the blue one back together like the gsx will come apart… but it will be a good comparison. The spyder stock probably isnt as stiff as a coupe, even with the added support from the factory. But with the goals in mind, the chassis will be getting a healthy dose of 1.75" .118 tubing so it can make hundreds of passes legally to hopefully reach the goals. A nice gsx with 350awhp and good suspension, cage, subframe connectors, etc would make a fun ass cheap track car too for autox, hillclimb, road, etc. I bet. ---

you simply need to buy the drop in studs for the rear subframe and drill a few holes. spot weld a few covers on from the inside to close thing up. Swapping the subframes into the dodge was easy, just took a lengthened DS to rear the rear diff and a spot welding 4g63 engine mounts to the shock towers up in the engine bay. One of the easiest AWD swaps you’ll ever do. ---

^ thats what I like to hear. Just hoping there isnt any hidden vert stiffening bracket crap under there i need to work around. ---

Floorpans are stamped differently, but that’s nowhere near where the subframes mount. I have old pics I took of the swap on film. lolz yeah, long before I owned a digi cam. ---
