speaking of people who know nothing about cars … my ex gf had a sunfire, it died one day, wouldnt start… the battery was dead … she took it to her mechanic,turned out the alternator was dead, he told her noone in the area carried one, and it had to be special ordered at additional cost … and the bill was fucking huge compared to what an alternator job SHOULD have cost i called the autozone by me, they had like 4 in stock, napa had 3, carquest by me had a bunch … in 10 minutes of phone calls i found over a dozen of them… god im happy i was only dating her for her looks --- _[View the full topic](https://forums.speedlife.net/t/whats-the-most-incorrect-car-statement-youve-ever-heard/14490)._
