…program that’ll tell you what codecs you need installed to watch a specific vid?

I used it all the time in college for porn but I can’t remember what it’s called.

not sure… but VLC media player will play anything AFAIK

Naw, it’s not a codec. It’s a program that will read how a video file is encoded and tell you what audio and video codecs you need to play it.
