Just drove by and there are cops posted up at all of the entrances. Did someone do something stupid like call in a threat? ---

Someone told me on wednesday that they are having a christmas party with open bar and such. Apparently they are making sure no one drives home shit housed. ---

I don’t know the owners at all, but I think the house I was at was Billy Derrick? I know that I did valet for him in his driveway about 4 years ago for his new years party. Chef Bink catered and it was a big party. He had a family though? ---

That’s a pretty awesome idea for a company that wants to throw an open bar office party but doesn’t want to deal with the liability of assholes driving drunk. Lots of places provide cab services but unless you’re making sure people are using the cabs you’re still facing major liability if an employee gets drunk, drives and crashes. My wife’s company throws a $30-35k xmas party each year and I just know one of these times that open bar is going to bite them in the ass.
