IIRC its a form of aluminum, so it “should” be safe, that said I don’t think it looks good and being different isn’t important to me so I just am not interested in it period. I also imagine its insanely expensive, as is are all new trends, for that money I would be all over a set of high quality forged wheels that are proven and respect in all circles.

Thats a show car, just for the wheels. You can see on the other side there is another set of 30s. Is that what u think is wrong? Other than it being a donk? lol

Hmmm with the different materials… The lexan (I’m guessing about material for clear portion) expands at a different rate than the rest of the wheel when heated and rotating- not to mention is more prone to cracking. Kind of a cool idea for show cars but not sure about rolling down the street in those… I’ll take my aluminum 14"s thank you.

Its not a composite(lexan/plexi), its a form of aluminum known as Transparent aluminum, its cutting edge stuff and extremely expensive but can be re-polished and is stronger then steel. Look it up on google, while its cool its not close to worth the price and a solid wheel looks like dog shit, weather its clear or not.

shit, and here I thought they actually found a way to make clear metal.
from what I read it’s just an aluminum oxide composite - a ceramic, although it is supposed to be really strong.
maybe it won’t get scratched but considering it’s a big solid surface it will still get nasty and dusty in no time.
I’d take hubless wheels over it any day.

I still want to know why only the driver side wheels are clear.
Even for a photoshoot it’s stupid to promote a product thats clear and have solid non see through wheels on pass side.
Unless they are only clear looking one way :confused

no the other 2 dont match, the lip on both sides of that clear part are orange onthe drivers side and on the passenger side they are metal
