Being able to comment on classifieds threads is what distinguishes this site’s classifieds from Craigslist, etc. Our system isn’t perfect, and yeah it can be abused but that’s why we have mods, an infraction system and a report post button. Remember when Rubicant had, and RX3 implemented the idea to eliminate all commenting in classifieds threads? On [watchuseek.com](http://watchuseek.com) they have a system where only the OP can reply to posts. Seems to work out well. If you want something, PM. This isn’t a discussion on that, though. You are free to do as you wish with classifieds, I think the system we have works fine. ---
