I want to get started on my Halloween costume and I need a big block of Styrofoam to carve and then fiberglass over to make a very important piece to my costume. Where can I get something that is probably 3 cubic feet, and is easy to carve. Maybe like that green Styrofoam that is in the bottom of fake flower pots that holds the fake flowers in. ---

that place on military that makes the foam for lancaster speedway, im sure they have something ---

pink sheets at home depot. cut 1 sheet into the size squares you need and glue them together as a lamination. you can make the basic shape you need easily this way… then carve the details ---

I need to make a helmet, so I was either thinking using a ball and fiberglass off that or make the shape out of foam and fiberglass over that. ---

i would think so…ever see the giant blocks of it surrounding lancaster speedway? thats where they come from. ---

just go to lancaster and take some that they throw out there is usually some good size pieces. ---
