Im starting a small vending business hence why I just bought a truck… 20 of my machines came in today and there is no fucking way im getting them onto my truck to transport them… I believe they are 780 pounds a peice. I’ve seen my exact truck with a lift gate before so I know its possible but I was wondering if anyone knows where I could buy a lift gate for a pick up truck? Also, how in detail are they to install? ---

im open to other suggestions on how to get almost 1,000 pound machines on and off my truck safely and easily as well, maybe theres something portable out there that I dont know of… No, a forklift would not work as it cant fit in my truck… ---

I can’t help with the lift gate… But I do have a set of interior shelving made by Adrian steel that you could use to keep tools, shit like that… also a double ladder rack. ---

Arrowhead on Central avenue sells Tommy Gates. Northway Refrigeration off Watervliet Avenue in Albany also sells lift gates. Id be careful loading something that heavy onto a 2wd Ranger. ---

I dont think your being a dick, I apprechiate the info as im not firmiliar with trucks at all and tow/weight compacity of them… I’d figure all a single vending machine is, is a couple of fat bastards. ---

The thing with a liftgate is that youre putting all the weight on the tail end of the truck and that puts alot of stress on the rear suspension. Its not really the weight of the machine, its how its distributed. Helper springs might be enough to overcome the weight. ---

Airbags. It’s what we use when we load up the 3500 with the 55 footer full of cars on back. You can just hook them to a schrader valve and fill with any compressed air source to a specified PSI. deflate when not in use. simple as that(or use onboard electric compressor if you want to get fancy) ---

If you really plan on throwing ~1000lbs in that little truck id honestly get a set of helper springs or a set of bags like adam (Boxersix) said, we had an older f150 that we threw a set of helper springs in and made the truck handle almost ~1000 more even towing… You might be better off getting a small 5X8 enclosed trailer Edit\* They say you truck can handle up to 1200lbs… with the lift gate and one machine you’ll be pushing that limit, and wont take long for something to fuck up ---
