Anyone know where in GTA to buy 75W90 API-GL4 manual tranny oil. Not the gear oil rated at GL4 and GL5. I want just GL4 ones. Tried CT, Part source, Napa, … nothing.All they have is either GL5 or GL4 and GL5. ---

whats wrong with using a GL4 and GL5 gear oil rating? Will it cause pre-mature wear in the tranny? ---

If anyone finds this oil, buy it. it is officially not legally allowed to be distributed in canada anymore because of our stupid labelling laws. there is no french on the bottles or some shit. we used to carry it here at P.I. but now we carry royal purple (just as good or better) we have some redline ATF left over but thats it, no more comming north of the border anytime soon. ---

I know PM has Redline MT-90, but at $18/l it’s quite pricey. I’m looking towards regular Castrol or somthing. Apprently, GL5 will deteriorate synchros quicker. As well, Nissan manual recommends GL4 for tranny and GL5 for diff. I would guess Nissan would know what’s best for their tranny. ---
